Good evening or Good Morning!

I think that maybe after two weeks, we hardworking and worldly WVU students can answer a few question for you the readers back home.

What do you want to know about Vietnam?

What would you like us to find out?

Let’s us know in the comments section and we’ll dig up the dirt or simply relate our experiences.

Is there any “green” consciousness in evidence there? Since Vietnam is working hard to join the world’s markets, are they planning ahead to prevent the pollution and industrial spoilage that plagues China and the West? Are you seeing solar or wind power? How do the middle to lower classes fare? Are the amenities (such as refrigeration and ac) commonly available to them? Just wondering….

Have you visited or observed any elementary schools in our travels? If so, what are they like? IWhat role does education in general play in the country? How is education funded in Vietnam?

Greetings from Morocco! My name is Becky Lovell and I was a study abroad student in Szeged, Hungary, this past semester and blogged for WVU.

I was thrilled to read that WVU is currently in Vietnam. What a wonderful country! I was able to spend a week in Vietnam in the Spring of 2007.

Has the group been able to fly kites yet? Ride motorbikes? Try the exotic fruits? Have meals with locals? If so, I would enjoy seeing pictures of your adventures!

I wish you many blessings on your international journey!

Montani Semper Liberi,
Becky
